Happy Almost Winter Everyone,

This is our 19th year for One Day to Make a Difference ~ which is totally amazing! However the World is a little different than it was 2 years ago when we last hit the Courthouse so we are going to wing it! Let’s go downtown and spread some cheer! I have so much in my life to be grateful for and I love having the opportunity to give something back to our community as a way of passing it on. This love makes the Christmas season seem so much brighter. I also like to think that those on the receiving end are able to experience the joy of gratitude. This year I challenge you to find a way to give back to your community that is meaningful to you and to your family. Jump into OD2MAD if you can, or start something completely new – just make a difference in someone’s life this holiday season.

ONE DAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE ~ Lots of opportunities to give!

(3) EVENT: SUNDAY DECEMBER 5TH, 2021 ~ 1~3PM @ BC
COURT 275 CORDOVA

This is an amazing opportunity to acknowledge a side of Vancouver that we often overlook. In
years past, we have provided a moment of warmth and a friendly connection to those
Vancouverites most in need. It is a fantastic chance to give back and the profound impact this
event has on both the volunteers and those who we reach out to, is amazing.

…We invite you to join us! Dress warmly and if you have any gently used warm clothing
or blankets please bring them then or donate them prior to the event.
We will hand out hot soup, sandwiches, hot chocolate, coffee, snacks and good cheer to
anyone who needs it. Please bring your children so they can witness this incredible
event!

Please bring:
-individually wrapped food items (soft granola bars, juice boxes, sandwiches, hot drinks,
chips (individual bags), muffins, Christmas baking, oranges, Halloween candy, paper
lunch bags, etc.)
-clean, used winter clothing or blankets.
-care packages of toiletries & sanitary supplies – get creative!

***Volunteers who are able to come 20 min. early to set up or pick up coffee are greatly
appreciated

Any Donations can also be dropped off at my house – 768 Baycrest Drive, NVan. Let me know if
anyone is hosting sandwich making parties and we can share any of our leftovers! Pass this along to friends and family so that we can all experience the Spirit of Christmas!

Happy Christmas Season to you and your family!

Cheers Tree & Family 🙂
